Indian cricket team hit by Covid ahead of Asia Cup

Indian cricket team’s Head Coach Rahul Dravid has tested positive for COVID-19 in a routine test conducted ahead of the team’s departure to the UAE for the Asia Cup 2022.
This was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in a press release on Tuesday.
It said that Dravid had mild symptoms and was being supervised by the BCCI medical panel. He will join the team once he returns with a negative COVID-19 report.
The rest of the team will assemble in UAE on 23rd August 2022.
