BBL 2022-23, Hobart Hurricanes: Squad, Captain, Key Players

Hobart Hurricanes will have Shadab Khan in the squad for BBL 2022-23.
The Big Bash League (BBL) season 12 draft took place on Sunday, with franchises selecting players from various price brackets. In the first round, 12 platinum ($340,000) players might be chosen, followed by platinum and gold ($260,000) in Rd 2, gold and silver ($175,000) in Rd 3, and silver and bronze ($100,000) in Rd 4.
The BBL’s Hobart Hurricanes have signed Pakistan spinner Shadab Khan for the next season. For the 2018 season, the franchise has also signed Asif Ali and Faheem Ashraf.
Hobart Hurricanes, headquartered in Tasmania, Australia, has yet to win the BBL trophy, though, they have finished runner-up twice.

Ricky Ponting, Australia’s World Cup-winning captain, will be the Hurricanes’ head coach. Ponting chose Shadab Khan for the Hobart Hurricanes because he was a “three-dimensional” player. Some of the prominent players who have previously represented the Hobart Hurricanes are D’Arcy Short, Matthew Wade, Tim Paine, Ben McDermott, George Bailey, Dan Christian, and Jofra Archer.
Squad: Asif Ali, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Caleb Jewell, Shadab Khan, Ben McDermott, Riley Meredith, Mitch Owen, Joel Paris, Wil Parker, D’Arcy Short, and Matthew Wade are among those who have appeared on the show.
