Ravindra Jadeja ruled out of the remaining Asia Cup 2022

India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the remaining Asia Cup 2022 with an injury, Indian media reported on Friday.

The all-rounder who played a match-winning knock against Pakistan in their opening match of the Asia Cup on Sunday suffered a right knee injury and was declared unfit to play the Super 4 round.

He is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical panel.

Meanwhile, Axer Patel has been announced as his replacement for the remaining tournament.

Note that India has already qualified for the Super 4 round with two wins in two matches – against Pakistan and Hong Kong.

Pakistan, on the other hand, will face Hong Kong in the last group match of the event. A win will book their Super 4 berth.
