Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has scored his career’s first T20I century. The 53-ball hundred came in a Super 4 round match against Afghanistan.
This is Kohli’s 71st international century across the formats. His last century came in November 2019 against Bangladesh.
With this stunning hundred, Kohli equaled Australia’s batting great Ricky Ponting. Only Sachin Tendulkar (100 international centuries) stays ahead of the former India captain now.
