Fans Slam ‘Selfish Rizwan’ after Pakistan’s Asia Cup Final Defeat

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan was slammed on social site Twitter after the Men in Green suffered a crushing defeat in the Asia Cup final.
In reply to the 171-run target, the 30-year-old scored 55 runs in 49 balls as the Babar Azam-led unit fell short by 23 runs at the Dubai International Stadium.
Rizwan, who eclipsed India’s Virat Kohli as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 282, hit his fifty with a six off Chamika Karunaratne but fell to Hasaranga’s leg-spin and the pursuit was over.
Some of the users on micro blogging website, termed Rizwan’s innings as “selfish”.
Sorry to say but Rizwan’s innings today was criminal !
I wish that he got out a little earlier !

Very pathetic batting by Rizwan. This was not the way to chase 170. He created pressure on his teammates to play risky shots. Anyway, congratulations sir Lanka. We are happy for you. ❤️ from 🇮🇳

87 of 80 balls from Rizwan/Ifthikhar while chasing 171, absolute criminal no justification

This combination is not working. Pakistan has to look into a lot of things. Fakhar, Iftikhar, Khushdil all need to be looked into. And Rizwan, 50 off 50 is not going to work anymore. Doesn't benefit Pakistan.
Hats off to Sri Lanka. What a teamFull video: https://t.co/rYk3d01K65

Rizwan played so selfish today to score the most runs in the tournament. Costed us the match!

Scoring 50 seems to be the only goal of Rizwan, selfish innings #PAKvsSL #AsiaCup2022Final
