Naseem Shah taken to hospital with fever, chest congestion

Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah was taken to a hospital in Lahore late Tuesday after his condition deteriorated. His ailment has called into question his participation in the fifth T20 international match against England in Lahore.
As per Samaa TV, Shah had been suffering from a high-grade fever for the preceding two days as a result of a chest illness. The fever appeared to sap Shah’s power, and insiders said he did not leave his room on Tuesday.

His condition appeared to deteriorate on Tuesday evening, necessitating a visit to the hospital.
Shah was diagnosed with viral dengue fever and taken to a local, private hospital for treatment.
It is therefore improbable that he would be able to play in Pakistan’s next encounter against England in the ongoing seven-match series.
