Watch: Martin Guptill hit Andrew Tye for 30 runs in an over

Quetta Gladiators opener Martin Guptill has smashed Karachi Kings’ pacer Andrew Tye for 30 runs as he helps Sarfaraz Ahmed XI reach 168/6 on Friday.
Batting first under lights in match six of the PSL8, Gladiators were pushed on the back foot thanks to captain Imad Wasim’s stunning spell. The all-rounder ended up with the figures off 3-16 from his four overs.
However, Kings were not ready for Guptill, who went on to score his maiden Pakistan Super League (PSL) ton.
The New Zealander smashed 12 boundaries and five maximums before getting out on the last delivery of the innings at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
His three boundaries and the same number of maximums came in the 19th over bowled by Australian pacer Andrew Tye.
Guptill started the over by smashing him on square leg for a boundary. He followed it up with a six over the mid-wicket. He then hit the pacer for another boundary on the mid-wicket. The right-hander then smashed him back-to-back maximums to complete him maiden ton.
He finished the over in style by smashing the fuller delivery outside off for another boundary.
